LOGOS Group

LOGOS means… “The Word”… Our hope for kids during our LOGOS program is … LOGOS exists to provide a safe environment for youth to be who God created them to be, to experience authentic Christian relationships, and to teach them that a saving relationship with God through Jesus Christ is more important than anything else in life!

The LOGOS Youth Ministry at Christ Lutheran Church exists to bring the light of Christ into the world by inspiring and equipping youth and their parents to be lifelong followers of Jesus.

We accomplish this vision by providing a safe environment for older kids to come and be with their friend and with caring adults desiring to help them grow in their faith.

Our focus is on building Christ-centered, authentic relationships with one another, equipping and empowering our youth to share with others their love for Jesus.

Year round opportunities are provided for students to serve in leadership roles or on mission trips, bringing them inspirational experiences that draw them closer to the Lord.

Our ultimate desire is to more effectively reach out to those who are not yet with us. Our facility supports this vision with a large gathering place for youth to assemble and “hang out.”

A TYPICAL LOGOS WEDNESDAY NIGHT SCHEDULE:

• 3:45-5:30pm: LOGOS for 5th & 6th Graders
• 3:45pm - Arrive at Church, Snack
• 4:00pm - Recreation
• 4:30pm - Bible/Lesson
• 5:00pm - Rotation of Music and Craft
• 5:30pm - LOGOS Ends, Parent Pick Up; (Option to stay for dinner at 6:00pm)

• 6:00-6:30pm: Family Dinner in the Great Hall for all students Grades 7-12, and CLC Families

• 6:30-8:00pm: LOGOS for all 7th-12th Graders
• 7th-12th Graders will continue with LOGOS in worship, small groups, and other activities.
• Parents, let Erik know if you are able to be a MENTOR for a 7th-12th Grader.
